Shutlanger Village Christmas Tea and Carols were on 20th December 2025 between 4pm and 7pm.
Around 50 villagers enjoyed a festive tea and raffle with carol singing in the gardens afterwards.
It was a lovely Christmassy event and our thanks go to all the volunteers for their help on the day…

Our Local Neighbourhood Policing Team hosted a free fraud and crime prevention event during the Coffee Morning on Thursday 18th December 2025.
Members of the community were given useful advice and offered lots of free goodies to help reduce scams and household crime in the village.

It was a creative and festive evening crafting unique door wreaths showcasing various styles and decorations, perfect for spreading holiday cheer.

Shutlanger hosted the fourth Shutlanger Open Gardens on June 22nd 2025.
13 gardens, including the village hall were open from 10.30am - 2.30pm with additional car parking provided this year too.

On Sunday 4th May about 50 villagers got together to celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
We had a bouncy castle for the children, a visit from an ice-cream van, a celebration cake and a glass of prosecco for the adults. Guests bought their own food. and there was a licensed bar.
