Shutlanger Village Hall played host to the Shutlanger Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations on Saturday 4th June 2022.
The weather was kind to us and a lovely crowd of villagers brought their blankets and picnics to the gardens at the hall to spend time with friends and relatives for the afternoon. Thanks to Will Dearden for providing the music.
The children not only had plenty of space to play but also created their own royal crown and painted stones to take home. A celebratory Jubilee coin will be given to each child in the village.
Lawrence, our local photographer, who took a photograph at a similar event at the Queen's Golden Jubilee in 2002 was asked to take a group photograph....Watch this space.
