On Sunday 4th May about 50 villagers got together to celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
We had a bouncy castle for the children, a visit from an ice-cream van, a celebration cake and a glass of prosecco for the adults. Guests bought their own food. and there was a licensed bar.
The jugs of Pimms was very popular.
We had planed to enjoy the day in the gardens but celebrated in the hall because it was distinctly chilly outside.
